Hi. My Name Is...

Hellooooo! In an attempt to enhance my Thirty-One Consulting gig I decided to try to create a web page/domain thing. I'm not tech savvy. At. All. In fact, I started this about 7 hours ago. It shouldn't be too hard, but I'm good at getting distracted. Anyway, I have been with Thirty-One for just over a year. In addition to being a lover of bags and pretending to be organized, I, along with my husband and BFF, Dan, am a Licensed Professional Therapist for the state of Missouri. Approximately 7 or 8 years ago physical health issues associated with a birth defect I was born with, Spina Bifida, inhibited my ability to work outside the home on a full-time basis. Fast forward a lot of years and I found myself working for a direct sales company. A little over a year later I found myself joining a second company, Thirty-One. I NEVER EVER thought I would be in sales of any sort. Truly. But, that's what I love about the direct sales world. It can pretty much be anything that I want it to be. Thirty-One's mission speaks to my heart (loudly, in fact).  I am a very proud consultant of Thirty-One Gifts. I'm not against making money. I'm very much for it, actually! But, while earning an income I also want my work to help others as I have been helped my whole life in one way or another, and it's what I believe we are on this earth to do. No one can thrive completely independent of someone else. I feel very drawn to helping and empowering other women, helping and fighting for the underdog, and speaking of "underdog..." Dog. Just. Dog. I am one of many crazy dog people I know. We are an interesting bunch of people. ;) Anyway, my husband and I have 3 canine children and about a year ago I became involved with a local dog rescue, LUCKY K9 RESCUE when we adopted our youngest rottie, Beso from them. Earlier this year I received quite the honor to be asked to help the rescue by serving on the board. I love this rescue for all that it is. I love the dogs, I love the volunteers, and I love the ladies I serve with. They are an extension of family to me. I am proud of the work I am able to be a part of. I work my direct sales business to  help bring some extra income in for my family (so my dogs can have nice things lol), to help other women who might join the Thirty-One family for their own personal reasons, to help women in my community, and of course, to help LUCKY K9 RESCUE through donations of my commission or various fundraisers. This pretty much sums up why I'm trying to make this website, advance up the ranks of Thirty-One, rescue all the dogs, everywhere, and help others. Please feel free to reach out to me anytime if you have any questions about ANYTHING. If I don't know the answer, I'll Google it. Google will know. In the meantime...
